------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                          HTML Kickstarter v1.0
                       for Winpack Versions > 6.2
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation:

        * Pkunzip the HTML.ZIP into your \winpack\extern directory

Thats all there is to it, however I am presuming that you
already have WINPSCAPE.INI set up correctly ??? Read the
WINPACK docs for more info on that .
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Purpose:
To allow WINPACK v6.2/NETSCAPE users a quick way to access your
HTML type PMS without having to browse for a HTM file to download

For example I have set up a page for each of the subdirectories
of the PUB directory with links to each file allowing it to be
downloaded with a click on the link in NETSCAPE . Also I have a
copy of my radio clubs homepage from the WWW available from link
(though it is minus the graphics) . All of the above pages have
links to them from the file WELCOME.HTM
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accessing The Server:

        * When a station connects they just type /HTML

If it is their first use of the HTML facilities they will
be given notification of what is going to happen and short
details of the required setup for this to function . At this
stage they can abandon things if they think their setup is
       not correct .

If they choose to continue then their callsign is recorded in
HTML.USR and on future occasions they will not be issued the
       warning message .

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SYSOPS Viewpoint:

The program when it runs looks for a file called WELCOME.HTM
in C:\WINPACK\EXTERN . This file will be the first page presented
to the user if it exists . if it does not exist then HTML.EXE
writes its own welcome page which contains a single ax25 link (/GET)
to a file called MAINPAGE.HTM which must be in C:\WINPACK\PUB\HTML

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
KNOWN LIMITATIONS:

The program will only work with the default locations for the files
       These are:
                     HTML.EXE............C:\WINPACK\EXTERN
                     WELCOME.HTM.........C:\WINPACK\EXTERN
                     MAINPAGE.HTM........C:\WINPACK\PUB\HTML

Not sure about this due to lack of time to test but it seems to
lock some systems or fail to run under WIN 3.x . Operation is
fine under WIN95 and WIN NT . Would appreciate reports of success
or failure from WIN 3.x users .
